Basketball - Boys Varsity
Quick start helps Cd'A boys romp past Lewiston

COEUR d'ALENE - Junior Nick Hancock had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead the Coeur d'Alene Vikings past the Lewiston Bengals 59-39 in a 5A Inland Empire League boys basketball game on Friday night at Elmer Jordan Court.

We had a good first quarter and played with a lot of energy early on," Coeur d'Alene coach Kent Leiss said. "We scored the first couple of points of the second, but didn't play really good at the end of the half and let them back into the game, but played solid in the second half. This was easily Nick's best game of the year and it was nice to see."
